Nel libro troverai una parte dedicata alle opere costruite con le mollette di legno e una parte dedicata alle poesie con traduzione in Italiano ed interpretazione, questo libro pubblicato postumo è il tributo a un desiderio mai realizzato in vita: condividere con il mondo le sue creazioni e i suoi versi, preziosi frammenti della sua anima.
In the book you will find a part dedicated to the works built with wooden clothespins and a part dedicated to the poems with translation into Italian and interpretation, this posthumously published book is the tribute to a desire never realized in life: share with the world his creations and his verses, precious fragments of his soul.

Ad Agosto 2023 il Mollettaio si è spento lasciando non solo le sue opere ma tanta tristezza, è sempre stato un bravo uomo gentile con tutti e tutti noi familiari abbiamo pianto la sua perdita! Questo spazio web dedicato alle opere resterà perennemente online in ricordo del Mollettaio ma purtroppo non potrà più essere aggiornato con nuovi progetti. Il tasto "effettua una donazione" è stato rimosso dal sito, tutto il resto rimarrà esattamente cosi.
In August 2023 the Mollettaio passed away leaving not only his works but a lot of sadness, he has always been a good man kind to everyone and all of us in the family mourned his loss! This web space dedicated to the works will remain permanently online in memory of the Mollettaio but unfortunately it can no longer be updated with new projects. The "make a donation" button has been removed from the site, everything else will remain exactly the same.
Le opere richiedono manutenzione pulizia, tutt'ora esse sono tenute in ordine, in questo video si vede la pulizia della torre di Pisa e del Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino) di Napoli effettuata con il pennello e con una bomboletta ad aria compressa.
The works require maintenance and cleaning, they are still kept in order, in this video you can see the cleaning of the Tower of Pisa and the Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino) in Naples carried out with a brush and a can of compressed air.

Sono Domenico "il Mollettaio", la mia passione unica risiede nella trasformazione delle semplici mollette di legno in opere d'arte che evocano la grandiosità di chiese, cattedrali e opere di fantasia. Le mollette vengono posizionate con cura millimetrica, una dopo l'altra, creando l'architettura imponente e maestosa delle mie opere, Cupole, archi eleganti, finestre intricate e campanili.
I am Domenico "il Mollettaio", my unique passion lies in the transformation of simple wooden clothespins into works of art that evoke the grandeur of churches, cathedrals, and imaginative creations. The clothespins are carefully placed, one by one, creating the imposing and majestic architecture of my pieces. Domes, elegant arches, intricate windows, and bell towers.
Le mie creazioni sono un'espressione artistica profonda, un'interpretazione personale che trascende il materiale di partenza, attraverso l'uso delle mollette di legno, conferisco un effetto tridimensionale alle mie opere, creando un senso di profondità e dimensione che cattura l'occhio dell'osservatore, seleziono con cura le mollette, scelgo quelle perfette per forma e dimensioni, e le assemblo con pazienza e maestria per dar vita alla struttura architettonica desiderata, non mi fermo solo alle mollette, ma integro anche altri materiali e tecniche artistiche per arricchire le mie opere, utilizzo la pittura ad acqua per aggiungere sfumature e dettagli, l'intaglio per creare ornamenti intricati e aggiungo altri oggetti per accentuare l'autenticità delle mie creazioni.
My creations are a profound artistic expression, a personal interpretation that transcends the original material. Through the use of wooden clothespins, I give my works a three-dimensional effect, creating a sense of depth and dimension that captivates the viewer's eye. I carefully select the clothespins, choosing those that are perfect in shape and size, and I patiently and masterfully assemble them to bring to life the desired architectural structure. I don't limit myself to just clothespins; I also incorporate other materials and artistic techniques to enrich my works. I use watercolor painting to add shades and details, carving to create intricate ornaments, and I incorporate other objects to enhance the authenticity of my creations.
